Rapidly
moving, a soft smile, and big dreamy eyes. When Gita crosses
the floor with her unwieldy sandals, she gives the impression
of hovering. Dressed in the Nepalese kurtha, with a shy expression
on her face, Gita stays in the background.
She has produced paper in Watabaran for
two years now. Previously, she worked in her brother's family,
helping out with the housekeeping. Gita lives with her brother
who's taken care of her since their parents died. Due to her
parents death, Gita has not finished her elementary education.
From a complete
dependency on her brother and his family, Gita has now become
an independent woman who can contribute financially to her
family. She's learnt how to produce paper and has improved
her English. To help her family survive, and also work to
improve the general situation in Nepal, is big. But there's
more to come. Who knows what Gita's dreamy eyes sees in her
own future and the future of Nepal?
