PAPER RECYCLING

The problem of hazardous waste and pollution is everywhere, yet it is more crucial in Nepal.
Despite the natural beauty the country is sadly drowned in a mountain of garbage and litter. Watabaran
believes that the solution is not over looking the problem but through initiating a constructive approach.
Recycling paper is our approach. Watabaran means ‘environment” in Nepali and this is our main objective-
to create a clean and healthy environment.

We do not use any harsh chemicals like chlorine rather we recycle the paper in the most the natural way.

  Our goals behind recycling paper

- To reduce the destruction of forests used to meet the demand of paper and thereby conserve the natural vegetation and the ecosystem.

- To cut down the costs and energy spent in making paper from the virgin pulp.

- To control pollution in the city.

- To utilize the waste as a resource.

- To lessen the amount of waste
exposed in the community.

- To create job opportunity for unemployed people.

- To raise awareness of a cleaner environment by encouraging people not just to produce recycled paper but to consume them as well.
